1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ZoriaScan ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and ZoriaSoft ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

ZoriaScan is a mobile application that provides document scanning, image editing, QR/barcode scanning, and PDF creation capabilities. The App is designed to work entirely offline on your device.

3. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Download and install the App on your personal mobile device
  • Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Create, edit, and share documents using the App's features

This license does not include the right to modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the App.

4. Permitted Use

You may use ZoriaScan to:

  • Scan and digitize your own documents
  • Edit and enhance scanned images
  • Create PDFs from your scans
  • Scan QR codes and barcodes
  • Share your created documents through your device's sharing features

5. Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to use ZoriaScan to:

  • Scan or reproduce copyrighted materials without authorization
  • Create fraudulent or forged documents
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

6. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, scan, or process using ZoriaScan. We do not claim any rights to your documents, images, or PDFs.

You are solely responsible for:

  • The content you scan and create
  • Ensuring you have the right to scan and use any materials
  • Backing up your important documents
  • How you share or distribute your content

7. Intellectual Property

ZoriaScan, including its design, features, code, graphics, and documentation, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by ZoriaSoft.

The ZoriaScan name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of ZoriaSoft. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of results
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Compatibility with your device or other software

OCR (Optical Character Recognition) results may contain errors. Always verify important text manually.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZORIASOFT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of data, documents, or files
  • Loss of profits or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is zero for the free version).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ZoriaSoft and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you create or share using the App

11. Updates and Modifications

We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. We are not obligated to provide any updates or support.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate these Terms, without prior notice or liability.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ZoriaSoft regarding the use of ZoriaScan.
